Min came to the United States in 1997 from Seoul, South Korea and immediately set about learning English and the American way of life. She worked in a restaurant for a short while before returning to her passion - hair styling. In Korea, she had run her own beauty salon, but she knew setting up shop in America would be a little more challenging for her. She worked for 5 years at a small barbershop in Oakland, and then opened her own place in June 2007. She specializes in Asian hair but her customers come from every nationality and every walk of life.
